Shaping what’s seen
I develop identities and creative marketing collateral with intention, precision, and a bold, minimalist edge.
Throughout my decade-long independent career, I’ve learned that the most impactful design strategies cut through the static until all that’s left is clarity.
I’ve partnered with clients across industries to create work beyond surface appeal, and my goal is always the same: to deliver materials as powerful as they are purposeful. It’s not always about what’s trendy or flashy; it’s about what works.
Perception shapes belief, and design controls perception. Your story deserves more than a glance; I help frame it with focus and meaning.
A bit about me
My name is Justin Burnett, and I’m a creative designer based in Niagara, Ontario. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in marketing departments, with production agencies, and now independently.
I’ve always been captivated by media and literature that challenge perception. I enjoy The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, and books like Kōbō Abe’s The Face of Another—reminders that things aren’t just about what we see but the experiences that disrupt, question, and ultimately reveal.
As an avid hockey and soccer fan, when I’m not at my desk, I’m at an arena or field, volunteering as a youth coach, applying the same intentionality and focus that define my work.
Where form serves function
-
Where it starts or restarts. Logo creation, brand systems, typography, colour palettes, and visual frameworks designed to establish clarity, consistency, and recognition across every touchpoint.
-
Work, one-off or ongoing, that covers the tools you or your business uses to communicate. Pitch decks, posters, packaging, social graphics, signage, print ads, merchandise, and more.
-
Bridging design and delivery, and connecting the dots between your business and its audience. Developing systems that support growth and visibility through email campaigns, social media planning, campaign rollouts, and database development.
Measured by impact
“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
